My Favourite DIY Fashion Sites
Whew, it took forever for Tumblr to work properly, but here we are now! Right, let’s get started!
Coming across Runway DIY was like finding fifty dollars in my pocket that I’d forgotten about - so exciting, thrilling and full of possibilities! Wow, great analogy there. Anyway, Arianna is inspired by current runway fashion and her DIYs are fun, fashionable and quite easy to accomplish. In particular I loved her fox jeans - check in my Archive, you’ll find them there!
If you’re a DIYer, you know Maegan! She does both amazing fashion and accessory DIYs, and most of them are great for beginners. I love that Maegan actually wears her creations alongside her gorgeous designer stuff. I totally lust after her shoe refashions, especially the removable ruffles.
Honestly WTF is on Tumblr, so I’m sure you’ve seen their stuff before, but it would be remiss of me to miss them out on my love list! The woven chain bracelet is amazing, so beachy chic. There are four pages of DIYs, so you’ll be kept nice and busy trying to decide what to do first!
Though Grosgrain’s DIYs at times can be more advanced for sewers, there are also tons of lovely & amazing DIYs to try out. A particular favourite of mine was the Shoe Sugar Month, a whole 30 days of shoe makeovers including clips, ribbons, modge podge and the like. If you’re keen on developing your sewing skills and you’d like to make yourself a dress, check out ‘Frock By Friday’. The Alex dress: lust!
Well those are my top four! There are lots more, but I promise I’ll be bringing you lots more! P.S. The pic is from Garance Dore, my fashion icon!
